Subcontain of Southcoast MA is locally owned and operated by Brandon Burns, a proud member of the community who believes that dependable service starts with strong local relationships. Brandon and his team work directly with developers, municipalities, and business owners to deliver modern waste solutions built for long-term efficiency, safety, and cleanliness.

Brandon Burns

Brandon Burns is the President of Subcontain Southcoast and brings a disciplined, operations-driven background to the waste industry. As a Massachusetts Maritime Academy graduate, Class of 09’, Brandon holds a degree in Marine Engineering. He began his career with seven years in the offshore drilling industry before transitioning into power plant operations, where safety, efficiency, and systems management were paramount.

Nine years ago, Brandon launched his entrepreneurial journey through the acquisition of multifamily real estate, developing a strong foundation in asset management and scalable operations. He later expanded into service-based businesses and founded PuroClean of Auburn, Maine, building expertise in restoration, and excellence through relentless customer service.

Driven by a passion for service industries and operational improvement, Brandon joined Subcontain to help modernize the waste industry as we know it today through cleaner, smarter, and more accountable solutions. He is known for strong leadership, organizational excellence, and a results-oriented mindset.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys time with his family, boating, snowmobiling, motorcycling, and staying active through regular exercise.

Joellen Sasville

Joellen Sasville is an experienced Human Resources professional with a strong background in supporting all sized businesses across compliance, employee relations, talent strategy, and operational HR. She brings a practical, people-first approach to HR, balancing regulatory requirements with real-world business needs.

Prior to transitioning into Human Resources, Joellen spent numerous years in restaurant operations, serving as a Managing Partner where she led teams, oversaw day-to-day operations, and drove high-level performance across people, process, and profitability. Her leadership tenure concluded with strong operational results, providing a solid foundation for her eventual move into HR where her firsthand understanding of frontline operations continues to shape her pragmatic, business-aligned HR approach.

In 2024, Joellen founded Tailored HR Solutions, an HR consulting business focused on providing customized, scalable HR support for entrepreneurs and growing organizations. Through Tailored HR Solutions, she partners with business owners to strengthen HR foundations, improve processes, and build compliant, sustainable people practices—without unnecessary complexity.

Outside of work, Joellen enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her dogs, as well as with family and friends.
